Junior Panthers, 2021-2022, REP (Central York Girls Hockey Association)

The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2021-22 Jr Panther Mackenzie Keenan on her commitment to USports AUS (Atlantic University Sport) University of New Brunswick Reds women's hockey program. Mackenzie is an outstanding student athlete who excels both on the ice and in the classroom. Mackenzie has been a big reason for the success of the Jr Panthers this year. We know how much effort Mackenzie put into getting to this point and we couldn’t be happier for her!  

Congratulations, to 2021-22 Jr Panther Alexa Giantsopoulos , on her commitment to USports OUA York University Lions. Alexa is a highly committed student-athlete and is also the Captain of the Jr Panthers this season. Over the past two years Alexa has been a leading force with our team and has helped the Jr Panthers program go from 2nd last place to being a top team in the highly competitive PWHL. No one is more committed to the Panthers than Alexa. We are so happy for Alexa and proud of her!

The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2021-22 Jr Panther Abby Lunney on her selection to  the U18 Team Ontario Blue team. The U18 Team Ontario Blue team will be taking part in the Central Canada Challenge Cup at Nottawasaga Inn and Resort from Nov 12 -14. The past 18 months have been challenging for many student athletes and it has made this announcement so exciting and very impressive. We are thrilled to be able to make this announcement for such a prominent and lifelong Panther!  

The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2021-22 Jr Panther Mikayla Cranney on her commitment to USports OUA Queen's University Golden Gaels women's hockey program. The past year has reminded us that there are no sure things in life but with Mikayla it was obvious from day one that she would excel in sports at the highest level. A natural athlete, Mikayla has used her athleticism and combined it with a relentless work ethic to make her one of the top 2005 players in Ontario. We are thrilled to be able to make this announcement for a lifelong Panther!
