SUMMER 2025 - A NOTE FOR PLAYERS AND PARENTS
U11BB Players and Parents,

As we head into summer break, I want to congratulate you on earning a spot with our 2025 - 2026 U11BB team.

Hockey is a demanding sport that requires a desire to improve (it doesn’t happen overnight) and you’ve shown that you’re willing to put in the work - I congratulate you on this achievement.

Summer is a time to relax and recharge and I hope that you and your family find time for a well-deserved break.

I encourage you to get outside, have fun with family and friends, explore new activities/sports and make the most of the sunshine that brings early mornings and late evenings.

Summer can also be a great time to find ways to build your hockey game.

Whether it is working on your stickhandling/shooting in your driveway, going to occasional public skates or training hard at other sports by staying active you are stacking little pieces to your game to become a stronger overall athlete.

In July and August:

● We will schedule voluntary weekly skates for our team.
● We will also schedule voluntary team building and dryland events on an occasional basis.

I will share these dates in the coming weeks.

We recognize that some of you may take a trip, play another sport or visit a cottage, so if you cannot attend these events - please do not lose sleep.

We will see lots of each other once the season gets started.

I do hope you and your family enjoy your summer! Don't forget why we all play this game:

● To challenge ourselves to be better;
● To build friendships within the community; and
● To HAVE FUN!

We will be back before you know it.
