U11BB Players and Parents,

As we head into summer break, I want to congratulate you on earning a spot with our 2025 - 2026 U11BB team.

Hockey is a demanding sport that requires a desire to improve (it doesn’t happen overnight) and you’ve shown that you’re willing to put in the work - I congratulate you on this achievement.

Summer is a time to relax and recharge and I hope that you and your family find time for a well-deserved break.

I encourage you to get outside, have fun with family and friends, explore new activities/sports and make the most of the sunshine that brings early mornings and late evenings.

Summer can also be a great time to find ways to build your hockey game.

Whether it is working on your stickhandling/shooting in your driveway, going to occasional public skates or training hard at other sports by staying active you are stacking little pieces to your game to become a stronger overall athlete.

I do hope you and your family enjoy your summer! Don't forget why we all play this game:

● To challenge ourselves to be better;
● To build friendships within the community; and
● To HAVE FUN!

The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2024-25 Jr Panther Amy Clements on her commitment to the U Sports OUA (Ontario University Athletics) University of Guelph Gryphons women's hockey program. Amy is a highly accomplished student athlete who has excelled both on the ice and in the classroom. Amy was a key piece to the recent success of the Jr Panthers and she will be dearly missed by the Panther community. We know how much Amy has dreamed of getting to this point in her hockey career and we couldn’t be happier for her!

Congrats to our 2024-25 Jr Panther Rhaea Flint, on her commitment to NCAA Division 1 Lindenwood Lady Lions. Rhaea is a tremendous student-athlete that had a major impact on our Panthers High Performance (PHP) program. Rhaea has spent the past several years with the Panthers and she took full advantage of her time here with us. She has always looked for opportunities to be a positive leader throughout her sport career and her time here with Central York was no different. Congratulations, to 2024-25 Jr Panther Erica Buckley , on her commitment to USports OUA Carleton University Ravens. Erica is an exemplary student-athlete and has been a key cornerstone piece to the success of the Panthers High Performance (PHP) program. She has worked very hard over the last few years to expand her game and become the complete player that she has always wanted to be. Carleton is very lucky to have Erica and we know she will make a huge impact for the Ravens both on and off the ice!

The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2024-25 Junior Panther Sam Whittle on her commitment to USports Saint Mary’s University Huskies women's hockey for the 2025-26 season. Sam is a highly competitive homegrown student-athlete that had a major impact on our Panthers High Performance (PHP) program. Sam exemplifies what being a Panther is all about.
