    Bio
    Brad has coached rep hockey (girls and boys) for the last 10 years in various capacities. In recent years has has coached or assisted with coaching girls hockey at A & AA levels, in addition to serving as the head coach for his son's A team. 

    His coaching philosophy is focused on positive reinforcement, and challenging players to work hard at all times. He firmly believes that every player must play in all situations, as part of team development but also to ensure individuals develop as complete hockey players. 

    "Dare You to Out Work Me!!" will be his challenge to the team this year. 

    Brad has spent 25 years in Information Technology and currently works for BMO.

    Greg has been a long standing contributor to minor hockey and has been involved with both the NMHA and CYGHA programs in a coaching capacity over the last 15 years, most recently with the CYGHA U18 BB Blue team as a non-parent assistant coach.

    Greg's approach to organized sport is focused on ensuring engagement and interest while fostering a balance of structure, fun, and a strong work ethic.

    Greg is passionate about inclusiveness and embracing each individual athlete's experience. He strives to provide a safe place to learn and grow mentally and physically in all aspects of the sport. Greg works to prioritize opportunities for building confidence by creating relationships and developing the leadership potential of each and every athlete.

    Greg has spent his entire professional career in the technology sector and he is currently enjoying working for a global software vendor in a director capacity. 
  • Naomi Kupferstein

    Bio
    Naomi has been involved with the Central York Panthers for many years. She started off working with the FUNdamentals/CUBS program, teaching young girls the basic skills of playing hockey.  For the past three seasons, she has been working as an assistant coach with the Midget A and Bantam A teams. 

    She believes in teaching the development of the basic skill sets of hockey to make a more well-rounded player. She understands the importance of girls coaching girls, and being a positive role model for future generations of hockey players.

    Naomi has worked as a head instructor for Toronto-based hockey school, Hockey Extreme for 10 years. She played NCAA division I hockey at Wayne State University. She won three provincial championship gold medals with the Aurora Panthers Sr. A team. 

    Naomi is a chiropractor in Vaughan, working with a team that specializes in complex chronic pain conditions. In her spare time, she enjoys playing hockey and golf and is an avid cyclist.

    Bio

    Lori Antflick is excited to be coaching with the Central York Panthers for the 2021-2022 season.

    Lori currently plays Senior A women’s hockey for Durham West Lightning and won the Provincial Championships in 2018.  She also played for Aurora Panthers Senior A team for a number of seasons. 

    Lori was drafted 28th overall to the Canadian Women’s Hockey League in 2011 after completing her stint at Northeastern University Varsity Ice Hockey Team : NCAA Division 1 from 2007 to 2011.

    Lori played in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League from 2004-2007 and also won a National Championship with Team Ontario U18 Red in 2005-2006.

    Lori was most recently an assistant coach with the CYGHA / Aurora Panthers Bantam A team during the 2019-2020 season, preceded by the Midget A team in 2018-2019.

    Lori has over 15 years of experience as a hockey instructor and it looking forward to a great season with the U18A Blue team.

    Christina began her hockey career during the inaugural season of the CYGHA and continued to play with the organization until playing in the NCAA for Plattsburgh State from 2001-2005.

    After university, Christina continued to play and coach for the CYGHA along with charity tournaments and men’s leagues. Christina has been to the provincial tournament many times bringing home the gold five times and went to the NCAA final four twice throughout her university career.

    Christina has coached for many years with many different age groups including the Fundamental program, U11, U13, and U18.  She is also the founder and coordinator of a local co-ed charity tournament which benefits a different charity each year.

    Christina believes sport is such a great tool for all athletes to learn so many valuable life lessons to use in every aspect of their lives.
