Jon is thrilled to be the Head Coach of the 2022-2023 Panthers U15 A Team. He has been involved with the CYGHA for the last 6 years, most recently as the Head Coach of the U15A team. In the past, he has been the Head Coach in the U13 / Peewee age group for three seasons and the Assistant Coach of the Atom AA team.

Jon is dedicated to providing a safe, fun and creative environment for his players as they build on their skills. He will push each player to do their very best and coach each player to her specific needs. He looks forward to using his knowledge and skills to continue to develop these outstanding young ladies and grow their love of the game of hockey.

He will challenge his players in progressive practice and game planning throughout the season. Jon will focus on the respect of the game, teammates, coaches and referees. The players and working together as a team is number one priority on and off the ice.

Hockey to him is more than a game, it provides essential life skills and lessons that the girls will have forever. He looks forward to seeing you at the rink.

Christine enters her 7th year coaching with the Central York Panthers Program. Christine is a Development 1 (D1) Certified coach who has been the Head Coach of AA, A and BB teams from U11 age groups and up over the years. Most recently spending the year in the Panther High Performance program with the U13AA team.

After having to choose between Hockey and Basketball, her two favourite sports, Christine played Varsity Basketball at Queen's University. She uses this experience to help best demonstrate how far hard work and determination can take an individual in sports. It also helps to best guide individuals in achieving their goals and in overcoming any challenges along the way.

Christine puts a priority on developing not only skilled hockey players, but good teammates and community members as well. Believing it is very important for young girls to see other females in leading roles, Christine will model and encourage her players to reach for similar heights. Christine is really excited to work with the U18 age group next year.

As a high school Physical Education teacher and Athletic Director this is the age group that Christine has coached for over 20 years! She is excited to help the players achieve the goals and objectives of the development program as they work to represent the Panthers at the highest levels over their next several seasons.
