Rich is excited to be entering his second season with the CYGHA.

Rich has coached and played at a variety of levels and is entering his 12th season instructing with Tara McKay’s High Performance Skating program.

Rich believes in delivering a clear and consistent message to players, and always having fun at all costs.

Bio
Ronnie has always been involved in sport, whether it be as a player or as a coach.  From triathlons, to basketball, to hockey, he has learned the importance of what good coaching means to developing players and their families.  

He continues to learn about the game of hockey not just from his coaching peers but also from the girls he coaches.  He focuses on building both the character and the skill set of each player, all within a positive and supportive setting.  

Teaching players to be coachable, excellent teammates and to believe in themselves will be of great importance this season.  He believes that through encouragement, meaningful feedback and proper planning, players are more willing to take risks, be creative and improve their overall game.  

He is looking forward to a fun, challenging and rewarding upcoming season.
