🏒 Rep Coaching Applications for 2026-2027 Season. The Central York Panthers are accepting rep Head Coach applications for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. We are seeking individuals who are passionate, dedicated, and committed to developing players and themselves. Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications, including coaching experience and qualifications, by December 22, 2025.

The Panthers are happy to announce Christine Bailkowski as the U13AA coach for the 2026-2027 season. Christine has a long history with the Panthers, both as a player and a coach.

The Panthers are thrilled to announce Christine Dafoe as the 2026-2027 U18AA coach. Christine is currently the head coach for the U18A Red team and is an associate coach for the U18AA team. This year she was also named to Team Ontario Red coaching staff for the Women's National Championships

Congratulations to our U11AA Panthers on winning gold at the 2025 Barrie Shark Fest Tournament! The team competed in six consecutive games and delivered outstanding performances throughout, capped off by three hard-fought elimination wins. Their effort, resilience, and tenacious play were on full display from the opening puck drop to the final buzzer.  On and Off the ice, these girls wore their panther jerseys with pride and showed what it’s like to be a true teammate.  We are incredibly proud of each player for their dedication, teamwork, and determination. The future of Panthers hockey is ...

Congratulations to our U11BB Panthers on an outstanding 2nd-place finish in Peterborough this weekend. Over five tough games, this group battled from start to finish and showed incredible determination, effort, sportsmanship and teamwork.  Every player contributed, and the pride they showed on and off the ice was special to watch. The commitment to improve within this team continues to stand out, and now they’ve earned some well deserved hardware to prove it.  These young and emerging Panthers represented our CYGHA program well and have come home with a well-earned silver medal!

The Panther High Performance Program is pleased to confirm that David Heath will again coach the U15AA team for the 2026-2027 season. In 2024-2025 David's U15AA finished first in their loop and was ranked among the top 10 teams in Ontario. So far in 2025-2026 the team is building on last season's success and is again first in their loop and ranked in the top 10 teams in the province.

On November 26th, we are launching a new fundraising campaign in partnership with Ascend Fundraising Solutions called "Victory Vault".   The goal of this campaign is to reduce the cost barriers for female athletes looking to start playing hockey.  Ultimately, a successful campaign would allow the CYGHA to completely waive registration fees for new players! An amazing weekend for our U18BB Panthers taking home Silver in Lake Placid Tournament. Going undefeated in the Round-Robin. Girls came to play in the Final game, but came up a little short losing 2-1. Great effort all around.
