Congratulations to Izzy Whynot on her committement to Harvard
(October 10, 2024 Aurora, Ontario) – The Central York Girls Hockey Association are pleased to announce that their 2024-25 Jr Panther Izzy Whynot has committed to play NCAA Division 1 Women’s Hockey for the Harvard University Crimson in Boston, Massachusetts for the 2025-26 season.

The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2024-25 Jr Panther Izzy Whynot on her commitment to NCAA Division 1 Harvard University Crimson. Izzy is a highly accomplished student-athlete that is making a major impact with our Panthers High Performance (PHP) program. Izzy is a lifelong Panther that is entering her second year as a Jr Panther. Izzy is a great example to all of the younger Panthers. Izzy is excelling on the ice and more importantly in the classroom. Being a student-athlete is very challenging but to excel at the highest level and be chosen by one of the most prestigious academic institutions in North America is a major accomplishment. This will open doors for the next generation of Panthers knowing that you can combine both high level hockey with an outstanding education. We are delighted to be able to make this announcement for such a prominent and long serving Panther!
