The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our very own 2024-25 Jr
Panthers Cheyenne Degeer, Zoe Li, Clara Williams, Avery Johnston,
Samantha Whittle, and Izzy Whynot on being invited to attend the OWHA
U18 High Performance Summer Selection Camp July 17-21.
(July 16, 2024 Aurora, Ontario) – The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our very own 2024-25 Jr Panthers Cheyenne Degeer, Zoe Li, Clara Williams, Avery Johnston, Samantha Whittle, and Izzy Whynot on being invited to attend the OWHA U18 High Performance Summer Selection Camp July 17-21. All of these players are working hard behind the scenes everyday so that they can be ready for an opportunity like this. The fact that these outstanding student athletes have risen to the top of their sport while still excelling at their academics makes this announcement even more exciting and very impressive. Samantha Whittle and Izzy Whynot will be arriving early to start the week off with the OWHA Goalie Development Camp(then staying on for the main camp). While the rest of this group along with the other 70 players invited will be showing up on Thursday morning and ready to go through an extensive 4 day camp in hopes of being chosen to represent Ontario at the U18 National Championships in November 2024. We are thrilled to be able to make this announcement and have these players represent the Panther Community at such a prestigious event! Way to go Cheyenne, Zoe, Clara, Avery, Samantha, and Izzy!
