Team Canada Alert!!!
August 5, 2025 Aurora, Ontario) – Team Canada Alert!!! The Central York Panthers are ecstatic to announce that our very own 2025-26 Jr Panther Annabella Van Berkel has just been invited to attend the National Women’s Under-18 Team Selection Camp!!

This camp will take place this week from Aug 6-9 at the Winsport Event Centre in Calgary, Alberta (home rink for Hockey Canada). Annabella will be competing against the best players from across the country for a spot on Canada’s Under-18 team that will compete in the World Championships being held in Sydney, Nova Scotia from January 8-18, 2026. Team Canada has invited the top 46 players from across our nation. The selection camp will feature on- and off-ice training sessions and practices, as well as three Red-White games on Aug. 7-9. Once selected, Team Canada will play a three-game series against the United States, Aug. 13-16 at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, New York. Annabella follows in a select group of former Panthers that have had the chance to make Team Canada. Annabella “Berkie” is a shining example for our young Panthers. She is so excited to have this opportunity and to represent all of Panther Nation at such a prestigious camp. We are so proud Annabella!!

Our company was founded in 1949 by Cliff Pethick from Bowmanville, who kept it until 1986 when he sold it to Neil McLaughlin of Blackstock. Neil ran the business until Nov. 19, 1991, when he sold it to Brad Black, our current owner. Brad changed the name to Black’s Water Supply Inc. and will have been in business 30 years come this 19th of Nov. 2020. We have a staff of fifteen people during the peak summer months, which goes down to five during the winter months. Our company now has nine tandem trucks and two tractor tanker trucks. We can deliver up to 7,300 gallons per trip! Trucks range from 3,500 up to 7,300 gallons.
