Jeff Agnew

Jeff is in this 3rd year coaching with the CYP program. He has over 20 years coaching experience including AAA and Junior levels. Jeff will be responsible for the team's offensive play and running the power play units.×

Amanda Makela

"Mak" brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the U15 program. After winning gold in provincials and a national championship with Thunder Bay in 2010 she went on to play 4 years of D1 college hockey at Mercyhurst. Mak played the next 10 years in the CWHL, NWHL and recently retired after playing the PWPHA. She has been a goaltending instructor at several schools and runs her own training program through Mak Goaltending. Mak has been part of our staff for the past 2 years and we're thrilled to have her as our goalie coach for the 2024-25 season.×

Chris Case

Chris is a graduate of YSE and the OJHL after which he spent 4 years playing college hockey in the US. Chris was also the head skills/skating instructor for the NTR for several years and a coach with the 2022/23 provincial champion Markham Majors U13AAA team. Currently a tactical officer for YRP Chris brings a high level of training and conditional knowledge for both on ice and off ice workouts. Chris will be working extensively to help players develop their skating and individual skills.×
