Jr Panthers Abby Lunney, and Hannah Clarke Selected to Team Ontario
Submitted By Steve Dempsey on Thu 02 09, 23
The Central York Panthers would like to announce that our very own 2022-23 Jr Panthers Abby Lunney, and Hannah Clarke were selected to Team Ontario for the upcoming Canada Winter Games being held in Prince Edward Island from February 27 to March 5.

The past few years have been challenging for many student athletes and it has made this announcement even more exciting and very impressive. Not only were they competing against the best players from across Ontario but they had to show their abilities through a time period when many players were limited in their ability to work on their game due to the pandemic. To add to this impressive announcement is the fact that the Panthers have never sent more than 1 player to represent Team Ontario in hockey at the Canada Winter Games. Both Abby and Hannah are ecstatic about being named to this team together. What a great experience for these outstanding Panthers that represent our association so well in everything that they do. We are so happy for both of them and can’t wait to cheer them on throughout this prestigious national championship.

Good luck Panthers and enjoy this amazing experience!
