www.aurora.ca/SportWorkshops One of the Junior Panthers approached the board wanting to share her story and initiate a conversation around mental health in hockey among our players to let them know they are not alone. In support of this brave player and to break down the stigma around mental health in our community, the CYGHA has partnered to bring you a keynote presentation on Mental Health in Sport featuring the remarkable Kendra Fisher.

Who is Kendra Fisher?
Kendra Fisher is an extraordinary individual with an impressive background. She's a former member of Team Canada’s hockey program, a 3-time World Inline Hockey Champion, CEO of ‘Mentally Fit,’ a professional speaker, coach, and an author in the making.
Kendra will share her personal journey with mental illness and the challenges she faced, including the isolation that led her to let go of her dream of playing in the Olympics. Her ability to engage audiences through vulnerability, authenticity, and passion leaves a lasting impact, helping us understand the importance of connection and kindness.

- Challenging misconceptions and fostering empathy within the athletic community.
