CYGHA Players Invited to OWHA U18 High Performance Selection Camp
Submitted By Steve Dempsey on Mon 06 13, 22
(June 12, 2022 Aurora, Ontario) – The Central York Panthers would like to congratulate our 2022-23 Jr Panthers Abby Lunney, Mikayla Cranney, Hannah Clarke, Nikki Nayak, Kayla Kondo, Makenna Slocum and Hailey Maguire on being invited to the OWHA U18 High Performance Summer Selection Camp from July 14-17 to represent Ontario at the Canada Winter Games.

The past few years have been challenging for many student athletes and it has made this announcement even more exciting and very impressive. To add to this impressive announcement is the fact that the Panthers have never sent more than 2 players to this High Performance camp before last summer when we cracked that barrier and sent 4.  The fact that the Panthers have followed that amazing accomplishment with an unbelievable 7 being invited this year is proof of all the great work being done here in Central York by the players, coaches, and support staff.

We are thrilled to be able to make this announcement for such prominent and passionate Panthers! Way to go Abby, Mikayla, Hannah, Nikki, Kayla, Makenna, and Hailey!
