Congratulations Calli!
Submitted By Patty Albert on Fri 06 19, 20
(June 18, 2020 Aurora, Ontario) – The Central York Girls Hockey Association are pleased to announce that one of their 2019/20 MAA goaltenders,  Calli Hogarth, has committed to play NCAA Division 1 Women’s Hockey for Merrimack College.

The Merrimack College Warriors play in the very tough Hockey East division and the school is located in Andover Massachusetts.

Calli was an integral part of Central York Panthers U18AA’s successful 2019/20 regular season campaign, good for second place in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League’s highly competitive Central Division. Calli posted a stellar .939 save percentage over 36 games and was counted on in many big games for the Panthers over the course of the season. She helped to backstop the team into the third round of the playoffs where they were facing the regular season division champion Brampton Canadette’s when the season ended prematurely due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Known for her positive and hardworking attitude, Calli will undoubtedly be a player of influence for the Merrimack program for many years to come. When Calli suits up for the Warriors in 2023 she will be playing with fellow Panthers Kennedy MacAlpine and Alexa Pongo. We wish her continued success on her hockey journey.
