Most people only see the player on the ice that works hard on every shift but we get to see the leader behind the scenes. It is the behind the scenes stuff that really shows you the tremendous heart that she has. Not only does Clara lead through her words she also leads by showing us her love for the game. No one loves hockey more than Clara. Clara is hockey. She shows it in every little thing she says or does. Her unwavering love for the game has inspired so many of her teammates to love the game more than they ever did. Finding joy and passion for what you do is true success. Her love for the game will create a platform for her to be highly successful no matter what path Clara takes after University. We want good people that happen to play hockey and Clara fits that criteria perfectly. You can’t help but cheer for Clara because she epitomizes all that is good in sport. The UPEI Panthers are very lucky to have added Clara and we are looking forward to seeing her excel at the next level”.
Clara is scheduled to start the 2025-26 season at UPEI in September 2025.
