CONGRATULATIONS to the Central York Panthers U18A - Blue team on winning the Belle Tire Detroit - CAN/AM U19 Invitational Tournament this past weekend!!!
Another great tournament for the U18A Blue Panthers this past weekend! Down to 13 skaters and 2 goalies, the team had to overcome 17/17/17 min period lengths with no floods in between and will ourselves to finish! A strong US contingent and some offside and penalty kill icing rule differences made it all that more interesting!
Claiming the first seed after the round robin, we faced the second seed Chicago Bruins who we'd lost to in the opening game in a shoot-out, a back and forth affair that we eventually won 4-3 in regulation!
Congrats the the U18A Blue Panthers, who really persevered in spite of all the challenges to claim the championship!
