The 2022-2023 Junior Panthers had an amazing weekend at the Stoney Creek University Showcase Tournament pulling off a 6-1-0 overall record and earning themselves the Gold Finalist banner! This was a 64 team showcase where the team finished top 2. The team went 4-0 in round robin play and gave up ZERO goals against. In the quarter finals they edged out Kitchener-Waterloo with a score of 4-3. Semis saw them face a tough Champlain College team but they prevailed with a 2-1 win that sent them to the finals against the Ottawa Lady Sens.  The game remained scoreless through 3 full periods and sent the final into OT.  The Lady Sens scored the OT winner to win the Gold Final.  Our Panthers finished 2nd overall...but 1st in our hearts!!  Well done ladies!! GO Panthers GO!!
